How the picker works

  • Budget sets the ceiling

    Insider is the value play; Sea Terrace is the sweet spot most sailors book; RockStar is suite life with Richard's Rooftop.

  • Motion sensitivity matters

    Mid-ship Insiders and Sea Views feel the calmest. Higher decks and forward cabins move more — fine for most, rough for sensitive sailors.

  • Balcony = Sea Terrace minimum

    Only Sea Terrace and above have Virgin's iconic red hammock terraces. Sea View gets a real window; Insider has the peekaboo.

  • Celebrating bumps the recommendation

    Anniversaries and milestones often justify RockStar — priority boarding, rooftop access, and a proper suite terrace.
