Does Base fare vs Essential/Premium matter for MNVV?

No — for applying the MNVV, Base, Essential, and Premium all work on an eligible cabin. What blocks you is picking Insider/Sea View or a Lock It In rate.

Fare tier only affects flexibility after you book (date changes need Essential or Premium; Base has stricter name-change rules). If you want wiggle room later, book Essential or Premium when you redeem.

What about the Sailing Club loyalty program?

That's different from MNVV. Complete eligible full-fare voyages and perks unlock automatically:

  • Sailing Club — after 1 eligible voyage
  • Blue Extras — after 2 voyages (perks on sailings 3 & 4)
  • Deep Blue Extras — after 4 voyages (perks on 5+)

Access Key fares, casino comps, and deeply discounted sailings usually don't count. Advisor bookings do count when they're full-fare.
